It often seems that no adequate treatment is available. The paper presents a treatment strategy using anthroposophical medicines which has proved its value. Details are also given on differential diagnosis and treatment of tinnitus, and an attempt is made to gain insight into the question as to why this symptom is such a problem to many patients.
